1. Can I have more than one unit at each property?

Yes, you can add as many as you would like, for an additional lower monthly service fee per station (standard equipment costs apply).

2. What about updates and upgrades to the Focalocal service?

Since Focalocal is web-based, you do not have to update or upgrade your service; it is all taken care of on our server, at no cost to you.

3. Does Focalocal require a keyboard and mouse?

During the initial setup, the included keyboard and mouse are needed to setup your internet connection. After the initial setup, these can be removed and the stations will function under 100% touch screen input.

4. What can I charge local companies for ad space on my Focalocal terminal(s)?

This is completely up to you. We charge a flat fee each month per ad placement. The posting of the ads can be accomplished very easily through your administrative portal to Focalocal.

5. What if the power goes out?

You are automatically logged out when the browser is closed. Once the terminal has booted up again, it automatically loads the web browser again, with Focalocal set as the home page. All that is needed is to input the keycode again to proceed to the main screen.

6. Can I operate more than one terminal using the same keycode login?

No, the site will only allow one login at a time per keycode. Additional terminal service is offered at a lower monthly service fee per station (standard equipment costs apply).

7. Can I lease the equipment?

Currently there is no lease option to obtain the equipment.

8. What type of warranty comes with the equipment?

The standard manufacturers warranty is 1 year. An extended 2 year warranty is offered at an additional cost.

9. Can I cancel at any time?

You can cancel at any time, however a early termination fee may apply (if one year agreement is in effect). Month-to-month agreements can be cancelled at any time with a 30-day advance notice.
